Criteria for Acceptance

Who is Synergy Ohio looking for?

Education- We are looking for young people who are students in or recently graduated from high school, college, or graduate school.

Theology - We are looking for young people who are committed to evangelical theology. Specifically, it is important for the intern to be committed to the doctrines of the inspiration, inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture, the centrality of Gospel centered living and ministry, and the compulsion of the Spirit. Call - We are looking for interns who desire to minister to others and explore whether God is calling them to vocational ministry.

Competency - We are looking for interns who want develop ministry, relational, work, and time management skills.

Character - We are looking for interns who are committed to growing in Christ-like character. Fruits of such character include: wholesome speech, integrity, discretion, honesty, eagerness to serve, willingness to learn, ability to held accountable, drive to work, and sensitivity to relationships.

Conviction - We are looking for interns who display a heart for God and others and who desire to walk in truth and Christ-like love.

Chemistry - We are looking for interns who have the ability to function and excel in a team of people who are both similar and different from them.

Leadership - We are looking for interns who strive to look like Christ when they lead others, and therefore boldly speak the truth in love and consider others higher than themselves.
